Kaley Duong (she/her) is currently a senior at UW School of Social Work. She is Vietnamese and a first gen student. She is passionate about uplifting BIPOC youth and educator voices, ethnic studies and actions to reimagine education. Kaley has experience with youth mentoring, racial equity professional development co facilitation, and collaborating with community-based organizations. She also works as an intern in PSESD Equity in Education team. From youth member to mentor at WA NAACP Youth Council. Through this fellowship Kaley strives for the commitment to always learn more, be curious, and apply her passions to making changes in education. Outside of work, you can find Kaley at a concert, trying new foods, or hanging with her dog. Her favorite place in the Road Map Region is Rainier BBQ (one of her favorite Vietnamese restaurants!)
